I love chocolate chip cookies! (I love to eat the dough, it's so good.) I decided I needed something sweet to get me through the night, so I made cookies, only thing was I only had a partial bag of semi-sweet chips, but I also had a 1/3 bag of white chocolate chips, about 1/3 of milk chocolate chips and about 1/4 of a bag of dark chocolate chips left over from Easter. So I put them all in...I have tried several chocolate chip cookie recipes over the years and I always come back to Nestle Toll House Cookies.
Check out this cookie sheet. It's silicone and it comes apart so you can roll it up. This will be my first time using it. Exciting...(but I still used parchment paper)
Original NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 granulated sugar
3/4 brown sugar
2 sticks of butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips ( I used semi-sweet, milk, dark and white chocolate chips)
1 cup nuts (optional)
Preheat over to 375 degrees
In a small bowl, combined the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Grab the milk from the fridge and have a seat....yum!!
