We're pregnant

I just found out I am having a baby. I can’t tell you how excited this new makes me. My husband and I have wanted kids for a while and it was starting to feel like we were not meant to have kids. We finally went to the doctor to get some help and we are now happy to announce to everyone that we are pregnant. It is such a happy time and we are on top of the world. We have already started looking into different ways to save money. We have always heard that children are expensive. My husband and I have always been big planners. I looked into different ways to cut back on our living cost. I looked into couponing, but it was just too confusing. I then went to www.texaselectricityprovidersand found a better rate for our electricity. This was the easiest way to save because I really didn’t have to do a lot. We have set up our budget to allow an extra amount set off to the side each week to pay for the baby stuff we are going to need. Since we are such big planners, we have already started to buy diapers and wipes. I don’t think there is anything wrong with being prepared. Now we just have to wait for our little one to get here.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your friend! It is GREAT to be prepared as long as it doesn't take over being happy about baby coming along (so many moms I know let the planning consume them. Where's the joy?). I found it helpful to buy things in advance like diapers as well (stocked up at Costco when they were $5 off per box) and started a savings account with an automated $50/month withdrawal. Any money you can save now will help later. : )
